Terrible experience. Blatant lies, many unanswered calls, Wattsup not responded to. Was sold a car with dodgy cor. Many problems (see pic) and they are not able/willing to solve said issues by providing the footage that the vehicle actually went for a test. Stay away if I was you!

I’m extremely impressed with the service we received from Chantal and team. We asked to come in on Sunday due to work commitments to see the vehicle and they made arrangements and we got there Sunday and we test drove the vehicle and we were happy. I was in awe that they agreed as we had no previous relationship i.e we were first time buyers.
The team assisted us with the application for finance and got approved. We were updated every day and Chantal answered calls and texts after hours too! The team is committed to good customer service and work extremely hard to satisfy customer needs.

My experience is different from the other reviews that I've read here, Shantel and the owner were very good to me, they didn't crook me in anything. It's 6 Stars from me.
I did a trade in with a balance cash deal. The trade in value I got for my vehicle was literally nothing but I had to accept it due to covering up for the vehicle that I wanted.
The Owner was very helpful and did help me where he could and gave me peace of mind.
On purchasing the vehicle there were a few gizmos and gadgets missing from the vehicle. Which was quickly resolved by the Saleman Buyani. Very helpful Chap. Who ensured I was happy with everything inside and out.
The lady's working there are very sweet and accommodating as well, especially Chantal who literally holds that place together.
My overall experience was good I only wish that the owner had advised me that the vehicle needed a major service immediately before I started using it.
But I guess anyone who buys a vehicle from a dealer or not should take it upon themselves to do a major service before using the vehicle.

After looking for my desired vehicle for a month, I finally found it at RJ Cars. Approached by Chantal from initial viewing to handing over the keys, she surpassed by all means what I expected from a sales lady. Her welcoming smile and post sales services stood up to her character. Would I recommend anybody to buy from RJ Cars? Will absolutely NOT recommend buying from this dealer. Baught a vehicle from them and got the worst service EVER. I had to repair engin, bumper, head lights, wipers at my own cost. They are friendly untill you paid. Then your on your own. NOT EVEN ONE STAR RATING FROM ME.
Funny that the owner NOW has the time to respond. Please also mention that i baught not one but 2 plain tickets to collect the vehicle on 2 seperated occations when promised the vehicle would be ready. Out of my own pocket, thats why the vehicle was driven to JHB sir. Not because of your good service, but because of your lack there off.

Absolutely not impressive at all bought a car from them in Dec and now it's March the car needs a service, battery needs to be replaced as well as shocks.parking sensors they are still ordering it from Dec up to now still nothing.do not buy a car from there as a lady buying they sell u rubbish

The guy that owns this place is a chap by the name of Rishi. A genuinely good person however this practice is generally very busy and I've bought vehicles from Rishi plenty of times already. My last of which never exactly happened as I was promised an Audi the moment it arrived.and was just forgotten about altogether. My message here is, donot let up on the gas peddle at all with Rishi.phone him everyday.and pester him as much as possible or risk losing the vehicle.otherwise Rishi is a gem of a human being that really wants good and has every intention of doing good for his customers.

I sourced an older Prado online and went to look. First impressions deceived me, an overcrowded lot. But I was welcomed, the salesman was helpful, then I met the office staff and owner and they were all very helpful. Two weeks later a very happy owner of a "new" car!

Buyani was ever willing to help me and I felt very comfortable dealing with him. They (the dealership) made me feel at home. I will definitely recommend my friends to this dealership. As with any independent dealership, I would advise one to proceed with caution when dealing with them. Although I did not end up purchasing a vehicle from them, I had every intention of doing so prior to my visiting the location. In short, I had an independent party inspect the vehicle on my behalf and what the salesman said was wrong with the vehicle did not correspond with the report I received from the independent party. Furthermore, I find it rather odd, after viewing the comments here that they insist on trying to respond and indeed rebut every poor rating they receive. That suggests a touch of arrogance in my opinion. While I was at the location I mentioned to the salesman that I have come across several complaints about this dealership, in particular on hellopeter, but the salesman seemed surprised. Even my conversation with him while there was somewhat annoying as he had a response to any bit of criticism levelled and seemed to be sizing me up, trying to see if I could be taken for a ride. Fortunately I am somewhat older than I look, so I guess I have some life experience on my side. In all honesty, the dealership is not terrible, but personally I would not return and as stated from the outset, just be cautious with them as I got the distinct impression that they would take a vulnerable person for a ride. Now, let's wait and see what smart response they have to this review, which will really just be proving my point. Take care guys, and stay safe.

Stress, stress, stress. If you want to be killed by stress buy the car from these people. For the whole month my car is with them lying broken from their mechanic. The owner here is crook who pretends to be a good - hearted Christian. I don't know what wrong i have done to them as they do not want to fix my financed car. I have ended up taken legal route to push them.
2. When ever I think about RJ cars it is like a grave with Roses on top but full of rotten things underneath Everyday this haunt my mind. I always ask myself why I went there?

Had the most pathetic experience at this car sales. Purchased a vehicle from the dealership in March 2020. Noted faults on the vehicle that needed attention prior to delivery. Owner agreed to repair faults but has not lived up to his word. On delivery of the vehicle components were stuck with glue and silicone in the most unprofessional manner. It has been 6 months and vehicle has still not been fully repaired. The after service at this car sales is the worst. Owner refuses to invest any money into the vehicle after purchase yet faults were agreed to be rectified before delivery of the vehicle. I would never recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

Ask my friends, I'm not easy to deal with! I'm often back and forth when making a decision. One thing I can say for sure the team at RJ Cars is very patient. After answering my 101 questions over one long week, I finally made my decision and took delivery of my new car on Saturday. Lovely people. Once again appreciate their patience with me.

Their marketing and adverts are good but their cars and the word from them is useless.they told me something and I found something else in the car.
I just want to report that I bought the 2000 VW Polo Playa on the 11 April 2019 since then I didn't enjoy driving the cars.now am paying for the Mechanic.on the 1st day of the 11 of April the was licking the water pipe issue. I want get justice on this. And their BOSS told the sales man that they sold the cars as it is, Nxaa

Hi… I have purchased two vehicles from RJ Cars over a 4 year period. I have found them to be honest and transparent.
I have always been made to feel special when dealing with them, from the sales staff to the admin to the dealer principal.
I’m sorry that u had that unfortunate incident but in my opinion they are a great group of people whom I will definitely continue dealing with.
Also I think that one has to look out for the obvious. Like make sure u conduct dealings at the dealership and pay directly into a dealership’s account and not someone’s personal account… a dealership surely can’t control the behavior of everyone. We also have a responsibility as consumers to be careful.
Just wanted to share my thoughts on the matter.

Worst place ever.a worker from here actually a salesman by the name of Sheldon stole about 35K FROM ME and this dealership didn't assist much. Or even get back to me. Service is pathetic and they are rogues. People Stay away. I have prood everything.

They are quite helpful and knowledgable, but they don't update what cars are still available and which ones are sold (on various 3rd party websites). So you might find a car online, but when you go look, its already sold. Best you can do is hope the answer their phones.

I went to the dealership on Sunday as the website stated that it was open between 10am and 2pm.
I got there and walked around for about 10minutes when the security guard told me the salesman was sitting in a car. I walked over and he opened his window to speak to me.he didn't even get out the car. Then he told me that he saw me walking about. I asked if he was going to get out and come help me so he said he doesn't have keys. I asked what he meant and he said he doesn't have any keys so can't help me. There was no point of him being there.
